Yes, I know – I’ve missed a few weeks, and that’s unfortunate, but Real Life sometimes takes priority over all else!

Anyway – this picture was taken fresh for this post…

‘Compass of Dreams’ at the Tompkins Houses, Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn

Yesterday (June 11th), I took a walk from Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn, over to Jefferson Avenue in Brooklyn. I guess I spotted this lovely mural about halfway into my urban hike.

It was painted by artists from the Groundswell Community Mural Project and young artists in their summer youth employment program.

There is another side to this wall, and maybe I’ll go back and get a picture of that one day when there are less people hanging out on that side…
